Tolix

Initially a leader of a household goods factory, Xavier Pauchard filed the name Tolix in 1927 and became “production of armchairs, stools, metal furniture”. The collection is a great success and is found in workshops, offices, public gardens … In 2004, the brand is taken over by Chantal Andriot, who surrounds the duo Normal Studio to assist in the artistic direction. Their design questions the industrial tool and emancipates from the past to value the know-how, rewarded in 2006 by the label “Entreprise du patrimoine vivant”. The famous Chair A is part of the MoMa and Center Pompidou collections. The complete Tolix collection is available at our London showroom based in King’s Road Chelsea.
