Enzo Catellani created in 1989, Catellani & Smith , a brand that distinguished itself by its desire to develop innovative lighting, through technology but also through the design that composes the lightings. During this first period his work is characterized by the use of Flex. The collections “Turciù” and “Albero della Luce” contained in the first catalog “Oggetti senza tempo”, highlight first of all the possibility of interacting with the object-subject that is the lamp.
