Cappellini

In 1946, Enrico Cappellini opened a small workshop in Carugo, Lombardy, but it wasn’t until 1960 that the production of furniture was effective. From 1977, Giulio Cappellini allows the company to take an unrivalled place on the international design scene. Insatiable curiosity, always on the lookout for novelties, Giulio Cappellini is a discoverer of talent, often precursor. He calls, in particular, Alessandro Mendini, Jasper Morrison or Tom Dixon. Some pieces have become classics, like Shiro Kuramata’s shelves. The collection is heterogeneous, dictated by Giulio Cappellini’s favourites, characterized by dynamism, humour and eccentricity, as with the famous Proust armchair.
The complete Cappellini furniture collection is available at our London showroom 241-245 King’s Road SW3 5EL. Contact us for all product and price enquiries.
