The Italian design house Magis, founded in 1976 celebrates 40 years of design in 2016.
To mark the occasion, the Pompidou Centre is paying tribute to the design house until October 3rd in its design shop.
Differentiating itself with innovative technological and creative projects, the brand was quickly considered a veritable ‘design laboratory’, working with design industry leaders to propose unique and technologically advanced products. Spanning from its unique accessories collection and outdoor furniture, Designers such as Ron Arad, the Bouroullec brothers, Jasper Morrison, Philippe Starck and Konstantin Grcic with his famed Chair One, all designed atypical objects and furniture pieces for the brand, tinged with humour and poetry.
